Tour name: Best of the North Vietnam 8D7N
Hi
Thanks for the email I was going to drop you a note as well
Yes we were very pleased we booked through you as we quickly learned we were in safe hands.
We felt that if we had a problem you were available and would get it fixed for us quickly
Really appreciated
1) Being picked up and dropped off at destinations. We did not have a lot of time to spend on our holiday and you took a lot of the mundane getting around stuff away from us …thank you
2) All the guides were very polite and noted particularly the guide called Drong was very knowledgeable about the history and city of Hanoi
3) All our drivers were considerate and very conscientious with SAFETY.
4) The trip was well thought out and we feel we learned and saw a lot in both Hanoi and Spa and Halong Bay
5) The hotel was also very good in Hanoi- good sized rooms and very good friendly professional staff.
6) The food on board the little boat that took us kayaking and swimming was very good given the cramped conditions for cooking …a lot of deep fried oily food though….MORE FRESH please…
Some thoughts and ideas….
1) How about some leaflets when we arrive showing us some places to shop and maybe site see around Hanoi. For example a good café and a good coffee shop would be good close to the Hotel….we discovered “Little Hanoi” our self by chance….…We felt we came very badly prepared …our fault as we did not research at all before we came…
2) Felt we wanted to experience the real Vietnam food and did not always feel we were ……think the chefs might be cooking for tourists and diluting down the Asia experience …
3) The boat trip…..a great location to spend time
· serve afternoon tea and morning tea with a local sweet biscuit when returning to the boat after an excursion ashore….
· Get the bar staff to go around the boat and yes clear the glasses but ask the guests if they want another drink…we have to keep going downstairs to get a drink ours elf from the bar…they will sell so much more alcohol
· Serve bar snacks before dinner and at times guest want something
· The last day was a bit empty …it dragged…. Before we got to the marina
· How about put in some drinks at the Pearl farm…no food or drink to buy …..sell them to hot and thirsty tourist and give the profit to the workers at the farm…!!!
· On the little boat that took us kayaking and swimming ..offer snacks through the day…it was a long time from lunch to dinner that night back on board the big boat
