April trip to Vietnam.

Hello Ms Hai Yen,

We arrived at home on the 27th late everything went well.
I promised you a report on the trip so here it is.
Hanoi - everything was very good the hotel I would use again, good location, Halong Pheonix Cruise was
also very good, the guide there was excellent.
Hue - everything was very good the hotel was good, the tour went well and the guide you used for the
Hue to Hoi An was very likeable and very informative would recommend Mr. Ten to anybody looking for a
 tour guide.
The hotel was good but would recommend using an inner room viewing the swimming pool or the gardens.
The outer rooms are noisy there is a school accross the street.
Nha Trang-everything went well, the hotel was good but would look for another if we went there again, the guide
didn't have to do much but was likeable and good.
Ho Chi Minh City - everything went well the hotel was in a great location the staff was friendly would stay there again.
The guide was good but we did not think he was very personable would not recommend him to my friends.
Can Tho - trip and tour good the hotel was in a good location but would not stay there again.
Phu Quoc - everything went well the hotel, guide were excellent would go back there again.
The Cambodia part of the trip was excellent the guide in Siem Reap was personable and informative
I would recommend him to everybody I saw.
The hotel in Phnom Penh was not in a good location and would not recommend it.The tour guide was informative and likeable.
In closing the trip was more than we expected and we enjoyed the whole experience,we will be coming back in the future.

a great time in Vietnam

Hi Hai Yen,

Thanks for your mail. We had a great time in Vietnam. We are very satisfied with your services in Sapa. Both tour guides are knowledgeable and speak excellent English, the drivers are also nice and professional. The hotel was excellent while the homestay accommodation was up to expectation. The host were kind and the food was delicious. The trains were satisfactory and the Sapaly Express was definitely of good value. Thanks for your advice and we did enjoy a wonderful trip in Vietnam.
We will recommend your company to our friends and hope we will meet again in the near future.

Best Regards,
Damon & Mandy

Hi,
My name is Damon, from Hong Kong. My girlfriend, Mandy and I are planning to visit Vietnam next month. We are deeply attracted by the great scenery of the Sapa region and would like to visit this pretty place. We have browsed the internet for tour information. However, we cannot find any fully fits our needs. We know that your company has been organizing tours from Hanoi to Sapa and thus we would like to ask for your assistance for a tour quote with the following requirements.

We will arrive Hanoi on 26 March and wish to take the night train on the same day for a 3-day 4-night tour, planning to leave Sapa on 29 Match.
1. 2 Return Night-Train Tickets between Hanoi & Sapa in a private cabin for 2 people
2. Transfer in minivan from Lao Cai Station to Sapa & from Sapa to Lao Cai
3. English speaking tour guide which will lead us trekking and visiting nearby local communities, villages and also the Sunday market.
(* It would be better if the guide can also speak Chinese)
4. 1-Night hotel stay in Sapa town (Please suggest 2-3 hotels for us with different grading for our reference) and 1-Night homestay in the local community
5. All meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) included within the tour
6. Any transport fees, entrance fees and permit fee required within the tour

We would like to have the price and detail itinerary included in the quote. We are looking for your favourable reply before this Friday and hoping to see you in Vietnam next month. Thanks for your assistance!
Best regards,
Damon & Mandy

thank you for organising our trip

Thank you for organising our trip it went extremely well. Your staff are extremely polite. I did provide feedback to the tour guide. The tour guide was ok - the language was challenging at times. Due to the rain we were not able to do all on our tour. Hence on day four we arrived at the restaurant at 430pm for 845pm train ride.
I should have told you that we were both vegetarians - sorry we didn't have all the meals ( lunch and dinner)
Once again. many thanks for all your assistance it made our trip extremely rewarding,

  Kind regards,
  Philomena

Halong tour voucher for Mr.William Truong

Hello Em Yen,
Not sure if you remember me and my 2 friends - we met at the Hanoi Phoenix Hotel in the morning, to organise our Halong Bay tour. I wanted to thank you and your team for your help in organising an enjoyable trip. I hope that Xuan is ok, he got sick the first night. We cannot help the weather, and I think in future we will visit Hanoi in warmer weather. Nonetheless, we will take away memories that will last forever.
Wish you all the best, and want to a big recommendation to Mr Diem for you and Xuan.
Keep in touch, and if you happen to visit Australia, let me know.
Regards,
William

trip in Vietnam - Tour code : 230111-VNTY-Charlene

Dear Ms Hai Yen,
I apologise for the delay in sending this feedback- my travels continued to other countries after Vietnam and I have only recently returned home. We really enjoyed our time in Vietnam and felt that we were able to cover so much despite being a short holiday. Our tour guides were fantastic- they were all very friendly, informative and helpful. In particular, Chin- our tour guide from Hoi An to Hue- really went out of his way to help us and to accommodate to our preferences, which we greatly appreciated. We were happy with our accommodation, which were all within walking distance of places of interest and places to eat. Hotel staff were also very helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed the Thuy Dong Hotel in Hoi An, which we found to be of a very high standard. We enjoyed the join-in group tours to Halong Bay, Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels, as they gave us the opportunity to also meet other travellers. My only criticism would be that they did not drop us back at our hotel after the Halong Bay cruise as they were running late, and consequently we had to run with our luggage down the very crowded street to meet our car transfer, which was not there when we arrived, although the driver did work hard to then get us to the airport on time, which we appreciated. In general, we were happy with the car transfers in each part.
We would like to thank you very much for organising this tour for us, as well as for calling to check up on us throughout the trip. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend your company to others.
 Best regards,

Vietnam and Cambodia from 25th of Dec 2010 to 10th of Jan 2011

Hi Ms. Hai Yen,
I hope all is well with you.
We had completed the comment cards with each guide and so hopefully they will have been some use to you in improving you service going forward.
We had a really wonderful trip and wanted to thank you for you assistance and service throughout.
As mentioned in our comments there are a few things which we felt could have been better and as you have asked I will put down a few pointers which I feel are valid and will assist you when planning a similar trip for future guests.
Our first hotel The Riverside in Saigon, the room we had been first offered was a bit smelly so we upgraded to the River View room, we would have expected given the cost of the tour that we would have been given this room as standard. Our second room was nice a little dated but the hotel is very well located and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. My comment would be to ensure your guests are put on the riverside in future, I’m sure no one will have an issue paying the $20 extra it cost us?

The other hotel we felt could have been better was the Golden Sand, again the rooms were musty smelling and the beds not at all comfortable. I would not recommend this as part of a tour.
Siem Reap, the Borei Angkor was also a bit dated and I would have preferred a different more up to date alternative as we had 4 nights here also their Dinner menu was not very good.
Kampong Thom, Sambor Village, was not a very good standard and you are open to the elements as the roofs are straw and do not provide any protection from the insects which come in to your room at night. I understand this area is not very well developed from a tourism point so we accepted that as it was only for one night, I would advise that you check out some alternatives.
On the positive side the Pilgrimage Village was superb we would have happily spent another night here and it might be an option to offer a 1 night rest day to guests in the future this would have been an option we would have really benefitted from after a week of intensive travelling. The Sofitel in Hanoi was beautiful, the Cruise was sensational and the Intercontinental was nice.
Our guides were all very nice and well informed and we are very happy to have taken this trip.
We both very much enjoyed our holiday and thank you to your team for looking after us. As I said over all we had a fantastic time and I hope my comments will help you to improve your service for other guests.
