This 14 days trip is for the traveler with limited time. It takes you around Vietnam’s most popular sights in just 2 weeks. But we use our time well. Everything that every body talks about is in it and we save time by flying or traveling on the overnight train. Highlights include the wonders of Halong Bay, now listed as a world Heritage site, the capital city of Hanoi with its fascinating old Quarter, Hue, The Imperial city in the 18th and 19th centuries, the picturesque port tower of Hoian, a favorite with many travelers, and finishing at the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.

    Meet on arrival at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon city tour (if time permits) including the visit of Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L)
    Have breakfast at the hotel. Full–day city tour including visits of the most remarkable sites as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Residence, One Pillar Pagoda. Continues by the visit of the Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, the Fine Arts Museum and Quan Thanh Temple. Enjoy in the evening a Water Puppet Show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 3: HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC – HANOI (B/L)
    Breakfast at hotel then drive to Ninh Binh. You will visit Hoa Lu – the former ancient Royal Capital of Viet Nam, Dinh Temple – where worshipped King Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Temple – where worshipped King Le Dai Hanh.
    When finishing Hoa Lu Ancient Capital you spend 45 minutes transfer to Tam Coc.
    Have Lunch at local restaurant.
    After having lunch, you will take a small bamboo boat and go along the Ngo Dong River to visit Tam Coc (Three Caves) – “Halong Bay on land” for 2 hours. Then get back and leave for Hanoi. Arrival Hanoi around 6:00pm.

  • Day 4: HANOI – HALONG (B/L/D)
    8:30am. be ready at the lobby, our car will pick you up and drive from Hanoi to one of the mostmagnificent scenic environments in the world, Halong Bay. Covering 577 square miles, this vast bay is filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks” or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see. We’ll spend a day and a half, including an overnight with dinner and breakfast on board, exploring this overwhelming sea scape from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Comfortable and intimate, your boat features hand-crafted wooden interiors including a dining room and pleasant air-conditioned cabins with private baths.Since we’re overnight on the water, we’ll be able to explore Ha Long Bay’s most beautiful spots with time to swim, kayak and even visit some of the largest rock formations and caves.   • Day 5: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)
    Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay or join Taichi exercise on sundeck.
    After breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave, swim, kayaking and relax. Cruises back to the jetty while brunch is served while you are cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Cruise check-out. Rejoin car drive back to Hanoi. Free time to discover Hanoi.

  • Day 6: HANOI – HUE (B/L)
    Have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue, the royal city of Vietnam’s last ruling dynasty. Upon arrival in Hue, transfer to the downtown. Take cyclo to visit Tinh Tam lake and Imperial Citadel, including Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh); Hue museum of Royal Fine Arts.

  • Day 7: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B/L)
    Have breakfast at the hotel. Drive to visit Minh Mang Tomb, Khai Dinh tomb and Tu Duc tomb.
    Depart Hue for Danang across the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds), passing through many pretty red–tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea.
    Visit the Cham Museum, the Marble Mountain and MyKhe Beach before proceeding to Hoi An. Transfer to hotel.Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 8: HOI AN (B/L)
    Morning, our guide meets you at your hotel lobby (Hoi An Area), then cycle to Hoi An’s colourful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients using in the cooking lesson later. Make sure your camera is on your hand.
    Continue to Tra Que vegetable village. Take a rest with special welcome drink.
    You will be taken around the herb garden where local farmers work on their field using organic methods from 300 years ago.
    Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. Make some flowers and animals by vegetables for decoration. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.
    Optional: The guide will take you around the herb garden. There you can join in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Learn how to rake the ground, sow, water, and pick herbs.
    Take a short rest before your lunch of local delicacies.
    Afternoon, free to discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries.    
    Visit Hoi An market, Tan Ky old house, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, and Japanese covered bridge.

  • Day 9: HOI AN – DA NANG – NHA TRANG (B)

  • Day 10: NHA TRANG – DA LAT (B/L)
    Have breakfast at the hotel. Depart Nha Trang for Dalat, a cool mountain resort. Its lakes, waterfall, evergreen forests and gardens make Dalat one of the most enjoyable places in Vietnam. On the way, visit Po Nagar Cham Tower, Long Son Pagoda.
    Arrive in Dalat and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Lover’s lane, Xuan Huong Lake, Flower Garden and Linh Son Pagoda. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

  • Day 11: DA LAT – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)

    After breakfast, drive to visit Prenn and Datanla waterfall – the 2 best waterfall in Da Lat. Free time until our car transfers you to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

  • Day 12: HO CHI MINH - MEKONG (B/L)
    Morning transfer to Vinh Long market in town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables...
    The boat will take you to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Then, come to visit the orchard & traditional house. We will enjoy some kinds of fruits and tea when listening to the traditional music
    The rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta.
    One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, “monkey” bridge, real life...
    The cruise will back Vinh Long city. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in HCMC.

  • Day 13: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi tunnels full day tour (B/L)
    In the morning visit the  Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office,  Reunification Palace. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum.
    Break time for lunch at a local restaurant. 
    Afternoon trip to Cu Chi tunnels - a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists. The network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities included  innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchen. Plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone". Today, start our trip, visitor can have chance to know how the tunnel was constructed, spend the next hours exploring the tunnels and war remnants, where you'll learn more about the conditions the people lived in, the hardships they faced, and the amazing ingenuity employed to maintain life in the tunnels, sample some of the simple cuisine that local fighters would have survived on, and have an opportunity to venture into the tunnels and explore the complex.
    Back to Saigon.
